I was born in Portugal and grew up in France, between Paris and its suburbs. I am currently based between Lisbon, Paris and Sofia, where I develop journalistic and documentary projects focused on migration, memory and political history.
I studied contemporary history and documentary cinema at university, with a particular focus on archival-based storytelling and the use of found footage in documentary film.
My work sits at the intersection of journalism, documentary cinema and historical research. I am particularly interested in how political violence, migration and exile are remembered, represented and transmitted through images, archives and personal narratives.
Over the years, I have developed a practice that combines writing, filmmaking and field research, often in collaboration with international media and cultural institutions.
This website gathers and structures these different strands of work — journalism, documentary projects and research-based collaborations — into a coherent professional practice.
